Teaching English as a Foreign Language

I have a TEFL level 5 diploma (168) and teach online (or private if you live nearby 😊).
I have a preference for teaching middle/high school level or adults and my academic background is helpful for professionals learning EFL and working in science, medicine, and the dramatic arts.

Editing

I only edit fiction from flash fiction to novel length in most genres (notable exceptions are Romance and Fantasy).
Fiction writers will tell you that editing is an absolute necessity and my advice is always: if you invest in one thing for your publishable work, invest in editing.
Edits can be developmental, substantive/copy, and proof-reading (they also go by other names). I do all three although a particular interest is developmental/substantive editing that includes
elements like overall flow, style, plot coherence, characters etc. at global and paragraph level–all while maintaining the writer’s voice.
