I was very privileged to have my flash fiction and a non-fiction essay accepted for this anthology,
edited by Mark Potterton, called Loud Explosions, Silenced Cries: Reflections on the War in Gaza.
And many thinks to the wonderful independent bookshop Bridge Books for hosting the reading.

Pauline Lietar, author of Paillettes, at the Alliance Francaise, Cape Town.
The workshop was for creative writing in French. It can be very helpful to see how different writing cultures approach novel writing.

23 March 2026, release of the French translation of Bertha’s World (D’après Bertha)
at the Alliance Francaise, Cape Town.
With much appreciation to the publisher who agreed to contracting a translation.
And of course the translator Sébastien Maury, schola and teacher of French literature.
